Health Information Act and NEHR
The Health Information Act 2026 was passed in January 2026 and comes into operation on a date the Minister appoints by gazette notice; Singapore Statutes Online listed it as uncommenced when we last checked. In Parliament, MOH said the Act would require all licensed healthcare providers to contribute to the National Electronic Health Record and that it planned to commence the Act from early 2027; later published summaries describe phased deadlines and differ on scope, and cybersecurity and breach-notification duties also apply. Confirm timing and scope with MOH, and raise any NEHR integration need with us explicitly, because we do not claim one.
